Welcome to the Dr Stone Elevate Insights & Resources space.
This section shares psychology-informed articles, practical strategies, reflections, and wellbeing resources for adults experiencing overwhelm, burnout, emotional exhaustion, executive functioning difficulties, anxiety, perfectionism, ADHD-related challenges, and the pressure of trying to hold everything together.
As a Chartered Counselling & Coaching Psychologist based in Glasgow and working online across the UK, I wanted this space to provide accessible, compassionate, evidence-based psychological insights that feel practical, relatable, and grounded in real life.
The aim is not to offer unrealistic “quick fixes” or pressure to become endlessly productive.
Instead, these articles are designed to help people better understand themselves with greater compassion, clarity, and insight — particularly when life has started to feel emotionally exhausting, overwhelming, or difficult to navigate alone.
Many of the people I work with are highly capable on the outside, yet internally feel exhausted, burnt out, emotionally overloaded, stuck in survival mode, or frustrated that they continue struggling with patterns they cannot simply “push through.”

At Dr Stone Elevate, the focus is on compassionate, evidence-based, psychologically informed support that feels human, practical, and sustainable.
This means moving away from shame, unrealistic expectations, and the idea that struggling means you are failing.
Many emotional and behavioural patterns make sense when viewed through the lens of stress, overwhelm, burnout, trauma, neurodivergence, life experiences, emotional exhaustion, and the pressure people place on themselves to keep coping.
Understanding yourself differently can often become the starting point for meaningful change.

Sessions and services are available online across the UK, with limited in-person appointments available in Stepps, Glasgow.
